He is beautiful ! and so much strength and character. I really enjoy watching your work in progress. It gives such an insight into how you create the amazing finished drawings.

Ecstatic! I wonder how large is your working area on the owl. I am trying to imagine the details you put into it correlating to the size. It's just phenomenal!

Thanks! I usually work on recycle smooth paper that is about 8.5 x 11, but I'm going to break out some new papers I bought soon, and try bigger. The only problem with bigger, is you need to keep drawing longer to finish the image! But the good thing, is you can add even more detail.
When I scan in my images, I scan them in at 600 dpi so I can safely enlarge small areas (or the entire drawing) and still maintain the detail. So I could print these on 13 x 19 paper at 600 dpi, (the average dpi size) but double the actual image size, even up to 16 x 20 while reducing the dpi to 300.

But my printer only goes to 13 x 19 so that's it for now. 8 x 10 seems a good size to offer for sale because most people can find an 8 x 10 frame easily and inexpensively or an 11 x 14 matted to 8 x 10. I would like to have one printed at a huge size like 20 x 30 sometime. I'll just have to scan it at 1200 dpi!
