Here's a fun project I created in Painter and Photoshop, actually "painting" on the strokes on the computer Wacom Tablet and an electronic pen. If you've never tried it, you should! It has thousands of tools from chaulk to ink to pencil and oils, and you can adjust the pressure, size and color for each tool. I'll be using it for prints and cards. I also think I'll add it to my Etsy shop if any of you know someone who loves polar bears, send them my way!

I have used a Wacom tablet and pen for many many years. I would be lost without it. I would love to get Painter and play with it some time. I use Photoshop and Corel Draw currently. Great detail in the polar bears!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the look you got--I have an electronic pen I can not figure out---I tried it at someone's house and then bought one and can't make it work on my computer---I'm supposed to be able to draw on my work etc---so she will have to help me someday when she's in the area..
Drooling over one of them tablets but way, way out of my price range (esp. here in Canada). Nice work. I'll try not to envy to much. ;-)
how beautiful! i love the details.
Great work.
Absolutely "spot on"! I love the richness of this...Beautiful! :)
wow! someone in my art class reccomended these so i've put one on my christmas list, don't think i'll be producing anything quite this good though!
Just gorgeous....I have a wacom tablet I bought over two years ago and never even took it out. I gotta try that again. Great blog.
Glad you enjoyed my stapler!
Your bear will make a lovely card - so intricate with all the brush strokes and yet such a simple design.
I have never seen one of these drawing tools, although I had heard of them. Would love to try one so may have to start saving.
I am impressed with the detail and sense of depth in this image.
You can be proud of what you've done here...
Lovely pallette, too.

OK, you got my brother (here for Christmas) and I to look up Wacom tablets. There's a low-end version called Bamboo, and multiple professional versions. Which one did you use?
