2016 is almost here!
It's been a while since I've posted, busy with teaching classes and getting ready for Christmas. My next 2 classes will combine beginners and intermediate students. "Colored Pencil for Beginners and Intermediate Students". I feel this will give the students who have taken my beginners classes, a chance to move forward with the security of still being a very new "intermediate" student. And those who are ready to move forward will receive more complex assignments and work with images that are more complex and a bit larger. And they will have a choice of 2 assignments, one less complex.
Same for my "Drawing the Human Head for Beginners and Intermediate Students". They will get to choose which of two assignments is more in their comfort level and feel secure that they can push themselves further with no fear and they can go back a step if they need to. I'll let you know how it works out!
We just had the first storm of the season yesterday, and it forced me to cancel 2 art classes, because of the icy streets. Hoping all other storms fall during the weekend!
