Canadian Warbler

This bird was is a very different position and I hope he doesn't look odd! LOL! He was fun to draw. I must find the rest of my Prismacolors because I am drawing the colors with a very limited palette (could only find one yellow!). I know I have another set somewhere! Might be time to buy a new set! Enjoy! I think one of my New years resolutions will be to draw 100 birds this year! This is so much fun!

I love your birds. And I especially love the idea of a theme for the year, ie birds! Do you mind if I think seriously about doing this too? Actually, in EDM and on my blog, I have been doing birds too!

Your bird drawings are awesome! Are you drawing them from real life, photos you took, pictures in books/magazines? Whatever, they're really wonderful. nancy

Another beautiful drawing :o)

I think the bird's stance works well. You got a good sense of perspective by fading out the tail a bit.

Thanks everyone! I just ordered new Prismacolor and Faber Castell Polychromes yesterday so I can color in the last two drawings! I may start another one today!

Your bird drawings are so very good. You know, i am afraid of birds because I saw the Hitchcock movie at a young age. But they make fascinating subjects! I hope you do 100 this year. Enjoy your new pencils!

This is gorgeous, Revelle. I like the whole series.

Congrats on the print sale too. it's a lovely piece, and that too looks like a great series.
