Haven't been doing too much drawing lately, been busy with other things, but I finished him up last night. I started to post him in a vertical format and then decided it really should be horizontal! Hope you like him! His mouth was a very tricky detail but I love the way it came out!

I love it too, and I like the horizontal presentation. Yes, Revelle, it's very clear what he's saying! lol nancy
He's definitely quite vocal :-) Excellent, Revelle!!
Oh yeah! That sends the message I am sure, this is one gull with the right attitude! =)
This is beautiful!! I love the way you do gray feathers. They look so gloriously soft! Fantastic contribution to the challenge!
PS I finally contributed a piece, and it sold the first night!! Very exciting. I'll be contributing another one tonight!
Thank you all! I may contribute this one also. I already sent out 4 copies of my Gannets. I contributed 10 copies! I hope the rest get spoken for.
Wow! So realistic and so alive! He reminds me of my childhood. My grandfather owned a sport fishing boat and would take me out for the day occasionally. Unfortunately I am not a good sailor. But the seagulls would flock to the boat as Grandpa cleaned fish on his way into port. Bold creatures they are!
I love your work. I am so happy about the success you having selling your work. You are an inspiration!
What an attitude! He's delightfully perfect!
How did I miss this guy??? I love seagulls, their are just too funny and the grace they have when they fly. It reminds me of very special childhood memories, being on the ships with my dad or walking along the sea shore. As always, beautiful drawing.
Thanks everyone! I have one sold!!!!
