White Dove Bird finished!

Can't decide if I need to add any background. Votes? He just looks so clean and pure, I don't want to mess him up!

I think it works without a background. He is wonderful.

He's precious!! I would agree with Donna, no background, that makes him look really serene =)
Thanks for your comments Revelle!

I don't think it's necessary; He already stands out so well on his own ! A beauty !

This is awesome! Your drawing has so much depth yet the colors are subtle. I don't know about the background--he already pops so background is probably not needed. Sometimes I have put tissue paper over a drawing, then applied background to see how it would look.

I agree with the others. He doesn't need a background. He's beautiful as is.

I totally agree - he's great the way he is. Wonderful drawing!

Thanks all! So he is finished!

I think it looks great as it is, but you could probably add a few pebbles to ground him more. Personally, I'd stop here, because I would be afraid of messing it up! But that's me!

Thanks some more! I think in my Etsy shop I will sell this print with various words under him: "white dove", "bless this house", and "peace". White doves represent a lot to different people. any other words I might consider?

I love the simplicity too of the white, but I agree with Raena, maybe something under his feet just to ground him.

He's gorgeous, and I'm also thinking just a few pebbles or something around his feet to ground him a bit. Either way, though, he's a winner! nancy

He is gorgeous! I really like the touch of pink in the feathers. I think I have to agree with the pebble idea for grounding.

I think a few grains of sand would ground her and I think "Today is a New Beginning" would be another saying that would fit. Gorgeous bird.
