Okay. I had convinced myself I could not draw a bird, but I sat down with a photo of one (didn't have a live one!) and gave it a try and voila! I actually can draw a bird! On to bigger and better birds! So if you are convinced you can't draw something, don't waste time like I did...try it again!

What a cute little fellow! I like your line work.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great drawing! Looks like you will have fun drawing lots of birds now :)
ReplyDeleteI also like the figure drawing posted below.
Very very nice! You did a particularly good job with the feet, which I find really hard to do!
ReplyDeleteYou worried for nothing! Of course you can draw a bird and...draw it well!
ReplyDelete. . . and he's wonderful!! WONDERFUL!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I don't believe you couldn't draw a bird before, this one looks like you have been drawing birds all of your life.
ReplyDeleteCute little bird. I can't draw much at all from memory; I need the something in front of me or as a pic to draw from. I'd like to learn to be more "imaginative". Isn't that how you drew your ladies on your web site?
ReplyDeleteThis one is lovely.
ReplyDeleteit's so cute!
ReplyDeleteLovely bird! I like how it looks on the toned paper.
